My main photography interest is taking up close macro images of flowers and other interesting subject that captures my eye at the time. My present trend is photographing birds, black bears and waterfalls. All of which can be a challenge to capture with a large lens plus the right exposure due to the movement factor of not standing still for long.

Nearly four weeks on the road travelling over 4500 kms, first leaving Vancouver Island by ferry to the BC mainland and heading north to the Yukon, all the way along the Dempster Highway into the Northwest Territory. Return trip brings us back southeast along the Alaska Highway for two days then we cut south going all the way to near the USA boarder. Our final few days take us north and then west to the coast just above Vancouver, where we make another ferry ride back home to Vancouver Island.
